Attorney Mary Faith Carpenter attended Michigan State University where she was a Phi Beta Kappa member and obtained her B.A. in Political Philosophy, and graduated cum laude in 1981.  She then went on to graduate from Rutgers University Law School in 1984.

She was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 1986 and has been practicing in the US Virgin Islands since 1986.  She is a member of the Virgin Islands (Member: Ethics and Grievance Committee; Professional Responsibility Section; Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee) and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
